Doukenie Winery is part of Windham Farm and is a lovely 500-acre farm set in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia where one can enjoy a quiet afternoon in the country and a picnic by the pond. On this working farm, there are 12 acres of vineyards, as well as raspberries, cattle, horses and ducks. They host a number of events ranging from intimate candlelit affairs, such as the Heart Healthy and Fall Wine Dinners, to family-oriented festivals like the "Taste of Greece" and "Taste of Italy," to cuddly and cozy soup weekends. $5 per person tasting fee.
