Virginia Wineries Cross the River to Strut their Stuff: Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show
Now that Virginia Wine Month activities are coming to a close, the celebrations move across the Potomac to DC’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show November 8-9. Food Network personalities Giada De Laurentiis, Paula Deen, and Bobby Flay offer demonstrations to complement many of our region’s top chefs. Look for interactive cooking sessions, food and wine demonstrations, and a separate beer, wine, and spirits tasting and workshop area. The Piedmont region’s well represented by Fabbioli Cellars, Rappahannock Cellars, Unicorn Winery, and Veritas Winery who join an extensive lineup of domestic and international labels. There’s even a Domino Sugar Just for Kids Interactive Cooking Area for ages 4 on up. General admission and special ticket pricing.
