Save the Date: Virginia Farm to School Conference in Charlottesville
You are invited to the one-day Farm to School Conference on December 10, 2008 entitled “Cultivating Virginia’s Farm to School Program: A Conference for Farmers, School Nutrition Directors and Interested Citizens.” Farm to school brings healthy food from local farms to school children nationwide. Hosted by the Virginia Cooperative Extension, this conference is scheduled for the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Darden School of Business is located on 100 Darden Blvd, Charlottesville 22903. Pre-registration is required, and the cost to attend is $20, which includes lunch, break refreshments and conference materials.
