Now that Virginia Wine Month activities are over, there’s time to visit the wineries and do some serious holiday shopping. Horton Vineyards has an after-Thanksgiving Open House Friday and Saturday, November 28-29  to help guests find great wine presents and stock up on seasonal wine discounts. The Kluge Estate Farm Shop, adjacent to the vineyards, sells a variety of gourmet products and numerous wine-related gifts. Three Fox Vineyards has a post-Thanksgiving Open House and Vineyard Treasure Hunt Friday to Sunday November 28-30 with free tastings and wine and merchandise discounts.  That same weekend Wintergreen Vineyard & Winery has its Holiday Open House with complimentary wine tastings and holiday refreshments. You can’t go wrong with the perfect present, a bottle of wine from your favorite Piedmont Virginian winery.
