Clarke County Farmers’ Market Opens for Second Winter Season
Pick up handmade baked goods, artisan bread, meat, yogurt, and homemade jams when the Clarke County Winter Farmers’ Market opens for its second winter season on Saturday, December 20th. Just because the temperatures have dropped, doesn’t mean the convivial market has to close its doors. Au contraire!
You can thaw out while chatting with local growers, or sipping local wines- new for the season. You’ll also find locally-made gourmet soups prepared by Christine Illich, a seasoned instructor at L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Md. Located in Berryville off of Church Street next to Dollar General in the town parking lot. Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon. Dec. 20, Jan 17, Feb 14, Mar 21 and Apr 18.
