George Washington can not tell a lie, It’s the best time to be traveling in Virginia!
The Virginia Tourism Department will kick off the 40th Anniversary of Virginia is for Lovers campaign, with a secret journey for 20 lucky winners and their companions. They will meet today, April 28th 10:30am at Mount Vernon, with suitcases in hand for an overnight adventure through Virginia. George Washington will greet them and give them their destinations and the 4 groups will be headed off across the Commonwealth. There has got to be at least one group heading through the Piedmont!
