Wine Education 101 at Philip Carter
A series of Wine Education Classes begin this month at Philip Carter Winery and will cycle throughout the year. Wine Tasting and Education Class 101 is an interactive class in wine appreciation, exploring social impacts, intellectual aspects, and sensual appreciation. Winemaking Seminar Class 102, “From Grape to Glass” is a comprehensive look at winemaking and a general overview of the aspects of terroir and taste and everything in between.
Class 101 and 102 are free to the public and held at both 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Wine Tasting Class 103 – Philip Carter v. California is a comparative tasting of similar varieties and contrasting styles. Free to VIP Club Members only or $25 for non-members. For more information call the winery at 540/364-1203.
