WordyKids & Fresh Ink, write it up at Tagaloo, writers workshops for kids.

Are your kids writers, or have such creative minds you wish they were writers, then these creative writing workshops are perfect for your wordy ones. 2 workshops, taught by author, and recent Piedmont Virginian Contributor, Susan McCorkindale,  will begin this week at Tagaloo and include inspiration for every age of writer. I need the next generation of writers to keep this blog and magazine going, at some point I am going to want to retire and who is going to keep up my job?

WordyKidz is a Creative Writing Workshop for 9-11 year-olds. This once a week writing class is designed to foster creativity and self-expression in a supportive atmosphere, awaken participants’ power of observation, imagination, and language, and guide young writers through various projects which may include short stories, poetry, and book, movie, and music reviews. Students need to come with their favorite writing tools, a journel, pens, pencils and inspiration. These classes are taught Mondays 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Tagaloo 23 Smith Street in Old Town Warrenton.  To register, contact Kimberly Entrican at kmentrican@aol.com . The first class will begin Monday Feb 8th and end Monday, March 1st.
